Warranties
Many of the products we sell generally come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty, unless otherwise specified. We offer a 90 day warranty on all products. Like many electronic items, the warranty is void if you open the device, for GBA or DS sets it is void if you open the cartridge or card. If you receive a faulty item, then we strive hard to get your order exchanged ASAP so you can get up and running.
Just e-mail us at info@kickgaming.com or contact us through our online form with your problem. We will try hard to assist you in getting it working, if it is the item, then we will supply you with our return address. Upon receiving the return we will test it, if it is defective we will ship you a new one. Turnaround is within 24 hours upon our receipt of the return. We ask that you send it to us as you received it, unless otherwise specified. We ask that you do not tamper with any item in order to get us to exchange it, our technical staff closely inspect all items returned. All items returned to us for exchange or warranty are done so at the customers expense.
Exchanges
We offer exchanges for faulty items or items under our 90 day warranty (see above). If you receive a faulty item then we will be happy to exchange it for a new one. All you have to do is contact us and we will provide you with the necessary information to get your item exchanged. However, we do not prefer to exchange one item for a different item. Also, the only time that we may exchange a item is if you received a faulty item.
For all products, having difficulties using, or knowing how to work, the item or software does not mean the item is faulty.
- If the returned product is verified faulty, it will be replaced or repaired as soon as possible. If the item is no longer available, it will be replaced with an equivalent or higher specification product.
- If the returned product is verified as working 100%, it will be shipped back to you as soon as possible.
Refunds
- If a we have not shipped the item yet, we will issue the refund upon request. However, if we have already shipped the item, then the customer must ship the item back to us at their expense, unused and unopened, before we issue a refund.
- If you have received a faulty item, then you are entitled to an exchange, or refund (within 15 days of purchase) for the total value of the your order less shipping costs (no exceptions).
Note:
The following return policy applies to all orders.
- If you are satisfied that your product is faulty, you must contact us before the product can be returned.
- Faulty items returned for exchange/refund must be complete unless otherwise specified. i.e. - in original packaging with all cables, manuals, software, packaging and included accessories regardless of size or value.
- All warranties are Return To Base (RTB). Therefore it is your responsibility to pay all shipping costs including import taxes for any returned items. KickGaming.com will cover the shipping costs (standard) when sending replacement (replacing verified defective merchandise) orders to you.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the returned goods are packed properly and insured against loss. We cannot accept any responsibility for goods damaged in transit to us.
- All items being returned to KickGaming.com from a location outside of Canada must be declared/marked clearly as returns/repairs otherwise customs will apply taxes and duty to the returned item to be paid by KickGaming.com AND we will refuse delivery of the item.
- Please note that partial or full refunds made through InternetSecure are subject to a 3% administration fee, and they are processed on WeekDays.
