This face plate looks really nice, but the quality of the plastic, and the quality of the mold aren't that great. The mold is slightly smaller height-wise, because my shoulder buttons are now tilting towards me now that the faceplate is installed. Its good that it comes with a change of buttons, but the action buttons look a little flawed, as if some of the paint didn't get pressed on correctly during manufacturing. The analog nub also sticks out a little more than it should when its mounted onto the device, so don't slip your unit in and out of a holster or your pocket too fast, or you might damage the device. It looks very nice and bright when installed, but I suspect a low quality plastic, because the light from the systems LED (particularly the power and charging LED) penetrate through the plastic and the light is visible even during daylight, but not in high glare. Its too bad there is no back plate either. Faceplates don't have the same "wow" effect as full housing mods. I like that the faceplate is completely molded and not just painted over, but when its like that, faceplates manufactured that way seem to have the glass glued on some way instead of a bi-plastic, so that its already attatched increasing integrity. anyway... it looks nice, but I might change back to my gold faceplate. I liked that this faceplate had markings, but even if my gold one doesn't, it fits better, and I don't want to damage my unit.
